HACKberry is an open-source, 3D-printed electric hand created by the Japanese company exiii. The company has also made code for software and data on hardware designs available on GitHub. According to designboom, the hand functions using a smartphone for computing power. Further details on the design are available on exiii’s website, though it is of course in Japanese.
