Artist Rachel Ignotofsky created this series of imaginative illustrations
inspired by the women who changed the course of history through science. Her goal is to complete fifty drawings in total. The ongoing project can be followed on her Instagram account.
"I wanted to celebrate the accomplishments of these women and hope to inspire curiosity in young women to ask questions about the world we live in and be the one who finds out the answers," says Ignotofsky.
