"Schlock Fish" is a whimsical comedy about a fisherman who loses his eye to a fish and plots his revenge. The fisherman, who is clearly not playing with a full deck goes all-out Wile Coyote on this fish. First, he attempts to "think like the fish." He abandons that approach in favor of a more direct approach - a stick of dynamite.
The film is amusing from beginning to end, but a small twist at the end ties the whole things together quite masterfully. The use of music emphasizes the whimsical nature of the film, and the cinematography is aesthetically pleasing.
