Video Round-Up: January 5, 2015

Listen as singer David Fowler performs an acapella medley of songs from Nickelodeon’s Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra

Welcome to The Geek Art Gallery's newest feature, the daily Video Round-Up, in which we collect the geekiest videos from around the web each day for your enjoyment.  Why slog through page after page of kitten and baby videos to find what you're looking for on video aggregators when you can cut straight to the chase here?  Comedy sketches, movie parodies, nerdy music, science in action, and supercuts - we've got it all!

Cinema Sins has released a new episode of their “Everything Wrong” web-series, and this one takes on James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy. As you might expect from these guys, they nit-pick the hell out of this awesome movie. They really had reach to find some things, and most of what they deliver is pretty minor stuff. That’s just what these Cinema Sins guys do, though. If you’ve been watching their videos, then you know what to expect.
"You loved it, everyone loved it, it's one of the highest-grossing films of the year... but, like all films, Guardians of the Galaxy still has some sins. Sit back, put in your favorite 70's tune, and groove to the sins of an admittedly-rather-groovy film."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer. Shot for shot remake!"

The creative team over at How It Should Have Ended has released their latest episode featuring a great new animated ending for How to Train Your Dragon 2. I don't know if you've seen the movie yet or not, but it's freakin' fantastic.
"HTTYD2 Finally gets a New Ending! Thanks for watching!"

Davide Di Bello (a.k.a. “D Wave“) recently played the original Pac-Man theme song in ten different styles on an electronic keyboard. Di Bello has also covered songs from the Super Mario Bros. and Tetris video games on a piano in the past.
"Since the Pac Man Original Theme is only 5 seconds long, I recorded these 5 seconds in ten different styles! What's your favourite? :)"

“Astronomically Correct Twinkle Twinkle” is a version of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” by Henry Reich of MinutePhysics and Zach Weinersmith of Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal that teaches kids facts about stars. Artist Chris Jones created an animation for the song based on his illustrations for the accompanying book.
