"The Survivors" Directed by Eric Nichols
Here's something a bit different for The Geek Art Gallery. It's a film that follows two people in the aftermath of an apocalypse. Only, rather than centering around some gruesome twist or science fiction mind-f*ck, it's a sedate piece about a blossoming romance.
Under normal circumstances, I probably wouldn't have posted a film like this, especially not in the run up to Halloween, but the director sent me a link, and upon watch it, I was impressed by both the beautiful panoramas that serve as the film's backdrop and the understated portrayals of the characters. The whole thing put in mind of the cut-scenes of The Last of Us.
