Short Film: The Gunfighter

"The Gunfighter" starts out as a clichéd western film, with a cowboy moseying into western-style saloon.  After that, though, the story takes a turn for the weird, as the narration begins to deviate from your run-of-the-mill western film script.  The story premise reminds me of those really old Disney cartoons where a narrator offers an ironic description of Goofy or Donald's actions as they go about some otherwise everyday task like skiing or gift wrapping.

The entire film is really well done.  The set is very authentic and the acting is first-rate for a comedy, both of which really sell the story.
