I've always wondered about this. What happens if a wizard summons a Patronus that's entirely the wrong size? For example, what if Harry cast a Patronus while locked in a broom cupboard? Would the stag crush him? If he can sit on the Patronus, it must have mass, right? On the other hand, what if a Patronus took the form of something small, like an insect? Would it just be forever useless?
